Customer Service Representative

Please US Based Only - We are looking for a goal-oriented, positive, organized, hard-working, and detail-oriented individual with a can-do attitude that can assist us with mostly email customer service inquiries.

These may vary from simple pricing requests to sales order creation to advanced questions that may need to be elevated to management. You will work directly with our customer service manager, to provide timely and consistent communications to our partners, customers, and other team members. Given the right fit and hardworking efforts, we expect this role to be a long-term, position.


Here's what you'll do:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, we have a 2-hour SLA so promptness is key to ensure compliance standards are met.

• Communicate with customers through various channels (mainly email, and phone).

• Acknowledge and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints. If outside of knowledge then escalate to CS manager for resolving issues.

• Process incoming purchase orders and create sales orders accurately, returns, and refunds and remain flexible for other tasks if needed.

• Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary over chat and google meet.

• Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process that ensures customer satisfaction and provides professional customer support. We encourage ideas that will ultimately improve the process for CS agents and the experience for customers.



Requirements:

• 1-2 years of email or chat customer support experience.

• Native English speaker currently based in the US.

• Excellent reputational integrity, and ability to communicate directly and honestly with no profanity.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to respond to customers with the right CS prose to be kind, yet firm in response.

• Ability to focus for long, extended periods of time and complete many tasks. Good prioritization skills for handling varied workload pacing during times of high customer communication demands.

• General knowledge of automotive and marine electronics is a huge plus!
