Production Line Lead

We are seeking an Assembly Line Lead for our manufacturing facility. The Line Lead will be expected to confidently lead a build line of 2-3 other builders, instruct them, and ensure the highest line output quality. This lead must be able to keep a team dedicated on maintaining quality and speed, while keeping the team focused and driven.

Assembly Line Specific Responsibilities:

*Strong leadership skills, able to correct a team member when something is done incorrectly

*Train new hires how to build products. Train them to meet quality and speed expectations

*Assemble products with consistent quality and speed, while overseeing and inspecting team’s work

*Ensure final product meets requirements and standards consistently

*Operate tools correctly and maintain them with care, train other members how to operate tools safely

*Maintain a maximum efficiency rate and lead other team members as part of ongoing lean production efforts to optimize processes

*Maintain a clean/safe work area. Correct team members when cleanliness expectations are not met

*Observe all safety guidelines, including no cell phone use outside of breaks and lunch time and enforce this expectation with team members

*Maintain on-time attendance requirements and communicate in advance, when possible, any personal needs that conflict with work commitments

*Light cleaning ability

*Must have competitive finger dexterity and ability to work in close proximity with other team members

Qualifications and Requirements

*High School Diploma or equivalent

*Basic math, reading, computer, and writing skills

*Able to stand for extended periods (Egis Mobile Electric production lines are a standing work environment with fatigue pads where appropriate)

* Able to lift 40 pounds on an infrequent basis.

*Must be willing to be cross trained and train others across multiple assembly processes and work functions

*Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is highly desired
